Enabling Two Factor Authentication ( 2FA ) in cPanel

  1. Log in to your cPanel - https://cpanel.yourdomainname:2083
  2. Go to Security section and click on Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Click “Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.”
  4. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) on your phone. Note: These apps do not come pre-installed on smartphones; you will need to download one from your device’s app store.
  5. Scan the QR code shown on the screen. Or enter the manual key provided.
  6. Enter the 6-digit code from your app into cPanel and click “Configure Two-Factor Authentication.”
